A generous, forest green, handmade, nuno felt wrap, created with finest Merino, and boucle fibres and A grade Mulberry silks on a base of lightweight Margilan silk. Inspired by the dappled light and shade through the trees in a forest glade. I particulary love the way the light catches the silks and the soft, supple nature of the finished felted fabric. This unique piece has been entirely created by hand, taking many hours, thoughtfully laying out the layered fibres of the design, followed by felting and fulling, resulting in this one of a kind piece of wearable textile art. The finished piece measures approximately 120cm x 68cm and is presented, carefully wrapped in pretty tissue and in its own luxury gift box.
